About the Club
Welcome to the University of Plymouth Hockey Club! Established in 1970, we have gone from strength to strength to be one of the University's biggest and most successful clubs, competing in local leagues and at regional level.
We offer 4 Men's teams affiliated to the Devon Hockey Association, two of which are in the British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) Leagues, playing in the BUCS Prem South B and Western Conference 3A - 1st & 2nd XI respectively. Saturday games are played by all four sides across the South-West and into Wales.
On the Ladies side, we offer 4 teams, again with the 1st & 2nd XI playing in BUCS Leagues, Western Conference 2A and Western Conference 4A. Saturday and Sunday games are played across this side of the club, the Sunday's being greatly supported.
The Men's and Ladies clubs socialise together, holding plenty of socials throughout the season, from the Christmas Ball to Pub Golf, as well as various fundraising events!
