A good start for a squad having their first outing together, creating a fast and excited opening to the game with all trying to impress. After 20 mins, a more settled side found a long ball from David Fasey to an unmarked Dan Palomeque on the penalty spot deflected the ball calmly over the logging keeper. 

This was quickly followed up by a series of short corners where David Fasey slammed one into the side netting to make it 2-0. Happy for a 2 goal lead going into half time Plymouth sat back patiently to run down the clock but this only allowed the home side to get bored and turned over the ball for Plymouth to notch a 3rd through Will Templeman on the stroke of half time. 

The second half became much more open with plenty of free flowing moves generated but the Marjon keeper, to his credit kept Plymouth at bay to hold the second half as a draw. All in all a steady performance but lots of positives but still plenty to work on before next Wednesdays away game to Bristol UWE to open the BUCS 2014-15 campaign.
